The Art of Leading Teammates

«Leadership requires trust, and trust usually comes from deeply caring about one another and the belief that winning is about the team. You must feel passionate about both.» This was not written by me, was Tom Brady, a guy who spent 23 years if his career playing football at NFL, were he won seven world championships.

Great article about Tom Brady’s leadership along his career summarised in seven key points.
1️⃣ Put the team’s success before your own – even when facing adversity
2️⃣ Recognise and appreciate the unknown heroes, the ones that do the dirty work
3️⃣ Set a culture of 100% effort
4️⃣ Understand what motivates each individual teammate
5️⃣ Complement the formal leader’s approach to support the overall team dynamic
6️⃣ Create opportunities for the team to bond off the field
7️⃣ Understand and pushback external forces that can generate selfish behavior

I would really recommend anyone to read this piece of art of managing people to act as a team, aiming always the same purpose, taking care of each other. Click in the title bellow to reach the full article at hbr.org 👇🏼
